Anubias are one of the most popular aquarium plants among hobbyists as it is a fairly undemanding plant to grow well. Anubias are very hardy plants and are able to adapt to a variety of different conditions, making this a popular plant among beginners. Anubias Barteri Broad leaf is a variant of Anubias Barteri. This variant is extremely similar to Anubias Barteri, except this plant has larger, broader leaves.  Anubias Barteri is a good midground plant that grows well when attached to driftwood or rocks. With all types of anubias, it is important not to bury the rhizome in the substrate as they get most of their nutrients from the water column. Instead, attach the anubias to a rock or piece of driftwood allowing the roots to be exposed.
