The Humu Humu Trigger, (Rhinecanthus aculeatus), also known as the Humu or Picasso Trigger, are a beautiful and well-known fish. They can be found in many locations, including the Indo-Pacific, Red Sea, coast of Africa and Hawaii. They Have a grey or white body with yellow, blue and black stripes. They are aggressive by nature and should be kept in FOWLR tanks with other fish of similar size and temperament. Reaching a maximum size of 12 inches, they do best in a tank of at least 120 gallons. They are not reef safe and should not be kept with prized crustaceans. They are carnivorous, and should be fed a variety of frozen shrimp, krill, clams, and squid daily.
