The Yellow Sea Cucumber, Colochirus robustus, also known as the Robust Sea Cucumber, features a characteristic yellow color and various protruding cilia. They spend their time lodging over live rock, corals, and atop a sandy substrate. 

It is important to change the water weekly or bi weekly as the Yellow Cucumber can be sensitive to high nitrates. They are a peaceful an reef safe species that can also function as useful sand-sifters. The Yellow Cucumber feeds on dried zooplankton and will filter the water column for food.
