Anubias are one of the most popular aquarium plants among hobbyists as it is a fairly undemanding plant to grow well. Anubias are very hardy plants and are able to adapt to a variety of different conditions, making this a popular plant among beginners. Anubias Barteri Striped is a variant of Anubias Barteri. This variant has large leaves compared to Anubias Barteri, and features more narrow leaves and wrinkles that represent stripes. Anubias Barteri Striped is a good midground plant that grows well when attached to driftwood or rocks. With all types of anubias, it is important not to bury the rhizome in the substrate as they get most of their nutrients from the water column. Instead, attach the anubias to a rock or piece of driftwood allowing the roots to be exposed.
