The Bicolor Chromis Damsel, Chromis margaritifer, exhibits a unique coloration pattern for damselfish with its dorsal region a beautiful electric blue/white color and its frontal a majestic navy blue/black. This species looks quite similar to the Half and Half Chromis (Chomis iomelas) with the difference being the location on the body of the dividing line. They are social fishes that are best kept in groups of at least five. The Bicolor Chromis Damsel is peaceful and friendly with most tank mates but can exhibit signs of territorialism with other damselfish species. These fish are much less common than other damselfish species. They are fest kept in tanks of at least 20 gallons with swimming space and rock formations. The Bicolor Chromis Damsel will feed on a range of frozen, live, prepared, flake, or pellet food. They are not picky eaters. Overall, a wonderful fish to add to your tank. Only think twice about adding this fish is there are other damsels already in your tank.
