Feed no more than your pet will consume within about a minute two (2) to three (3) times each day. Care should be taken to avoid over-feeding and no food should remain after the feeding period. Prior to feeding you may soak Marine -S™ in a cup of purified water for a few minutes to allow the pellets to fill with fresh water and become sponge-like and elastic thus resembling the foods your fish would eat on the reef. The infusion of freshwater also helps improve digestion and can improve coloration and activity levels due to less energy being consumed by the osmotic process.
