The Oreni Tilefish (Hoplolatilus oreni), is a beautifully colored, streamline fish found among the Indo-Pacific Ocean. It typically has a brilliant blue coloration with yellow zigzags across the top half of the body, though it is capable of changing its colors to a wide variety, either to help blend with its surroundings or intimidate predators. They reach a maximum size of 8 inches and do best in reef aquariums of at least 50 gallons. A tight lid is recommended, as most tile and dart fish are prone to jumping. They should be fed a variety of carnivorous preparations daily.
